Arrival Entebbe – Sezibwa Falls – Jinja

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport where you will meet your guide. Begin your adventure with a visit to Sezibwa Falls before continuing to Jinja, home of the Source of the Nile.

Jinja – Cycling & Nile Experience

Enjoy a guided morning cycling experience through Jinja's streets, colonial landmarks, markets and surrounding countryside. Cycle through sugarcane plantations, local villages and beautiful viewpoints overlooking the Nile.

Jinja → Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Depart Jinja early and travel to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. In the afternoon, enjoy an exciting guided rhino tracking experience on foot.

Ziwa → Murchison Falls National Park

Continue to Murchison Falls National Park and visit the spectacular Top of the Falls. Experience an afternoon boat cruise towards the Bottom of the Falls followed by an evening game drive.

Murchison Falls → Kibale Forest

Begin with a sunrise game drive before travelling through Uganda's beautiful countryside towards Kibale Forest.

Kibale Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi

Experience chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest. In the afternoon, visit Bigodi Swamp and enjoy a community experience including traditional banana wine production.

Kibale → Fort Portal

Travel to Fort Portal Tourism City and explore the famous Amabere Caves and beautiful Mahoma Falls.

Fort Portal → Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy an 11:00 AM Kazinga Channel boat cruise followed by an afternoon wildlife game drive.

Queen Elizabeth → Lake Bunyonyi

Begin with a morning game drive before travelling towards Lake Bunyonyi, with a visit to Kitagata Hot Springs along the way.

Lake Bunyonyi Experience

Spend the day exploring beautiful Lake Bunyonyi. Visit Punishment Island and enjoy cultural experiences including an encounter with a traditional healer.

Lake Bunyonyi → Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

Travel towards Mgahinga through Echuya Forest for a Batwa cultural experience. Continue to Kisoro with lunch at German Grandmother Coffee Pot.

Kisoro → Rwanda → Musanze

Enjoy a coffee tour near the Democratic Republic of Congo border before crossing Cyanika/Kyanika Border into Rwanda. Visit the Dian Fossey Memorial, Musanze Market and Ishuti Art Center.

Musanze Caves → Kigali → Departure

Explore the spectacular Musanze Caves before travelling to Kigali for sightseeing. Later, transfer to Kigali International Airport for your evening departure flight.

Arrival in Kigali & City Tour

Arrive in Kigali and enjoy a city tour including the Kigali Genocide Memorial, local markets and cultural sites.

Kigali → Akagera National Park

Travel to Akagera National Park and enjoy an afternoon game drive beginning around 2:00 PM.

Akagera → Lake Mburo National Park

Transfer to Uganda through Mirama Hills and continue to Lake Mburo National Park. Enjoy an evening game drive if time permits.

Lake Mburo → Queen Elizabeth National Park

Start with a morning game drive or guided walk before continuing to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Queen Elizabeth & Kazinga Channel

Enjoy a morning wildlife game drive followed by an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel.

Queen Elizabeth → Lake Bunyonyi

Travel through southwestern Uganda towards the beautiful highland scenery of Lake Bunyonyi.

Lake Bunyonyi Experience

Spend the day enjoying Lake Bunyonyi with swimming and relaxation. Visit Punishment Island and experience local culture including a traditional healer.

Lake Bunyonyi → Mgahinga / Bwindi

Continue towards Mgahinga Gorilla National Park or Bwindi Impenetrable National Park depending on the location of your gorilla trekking permit.

Cyanika Border → Twin Lakes → Musanze

Cross the Cyanika Border into Rwanda and explore the beautiful Twin Lakes of Burera and Ruhondo before continuing to Musanze.

Musanze Tour → Kigali Airport

Explore Musanze Caves, the Dian Fossey Memorial and Ishuti Art Center. Enjoy lunch at Migano Hotel before transferring to Kigali International Airport for your evening flight.

Kigali City Tour

Pickup from Kigali International Airport and begin your Kigali city experience. Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, Akandi Museum and explore Kigali's suburbs for a deeper cultural insight.

After lunch in the city centre, explore local markets, art galleries, streets and beautiful city gardens.

Musanze & Dian Fossey Memorial

After breakfast, transfer to Musanze with a visit to Ishut Craft Village before continuing to the Dian Fossey Memorial.

Musanze Caves & Departure

After breakfast, enjoy a guided exploration of Musanze Caves. The volcanic cave system extends approximately 2.01 kilometres and provides a fascinating look into the area's volcanic history and wildlife, including bats.

Enjoy lunch at Migano Hotel before returning to Kigali International Airport for departure.

Kigali → Cyanika Border → Kisoro

Morning pickup in Kigali followed by a scenic journey towards Uganda through the Cyanika border. The journey takes approximately five hours.

Enjoy lunch at German Grandmother's Coffee Port in Kisoro near the Democratic Republic of Congo border before settling in for the evening.

Lake Bunyonyi → Kigali

After breakfast, enjoy a boat tour across Lake Bunyonyi and discover some of its 29 islands, including the famous Punishment Island, locally known as Akampene.

There is also an opportunity to experience local culture and traditional healers before crossing the Katuna border back into Rwanda. Continue to Kigali for your evening departure flight.

Entebbe → Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary → Murchison Falls

Begin your safari with a journey north towards Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exciting guided rhino tracking experience on foot. Continue to the Murchison Falls area for the evening.

Murchison Falls Game Drive & Nile Boat Cruise

Explore Murchison Falls National Park on a wildlife game drive before enjoying a boat cruise along the Nile towards the Bottom of the Falls. Look out for wildlife along the riverbanks and enjoy the dramatic scenery surrounding the falls.

Top of the Falls → Kibale Forest

Visit the spectacular Top of Murchison Falls, where the Nile forces its way through a narrow gorge. Afterwards, continue through Uganda's countryside towards Kibale National Park.

Kibale → Southwestern Uganda

Leave Kibale and travel through the beautiful landscapes of western and southwestern Uganda, enjoying scenic countryside and views along the journey towards the gorilla highlands.

Bwindi Forest & Nature Experience

Arrive in the Bwindi region and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Uganda's southwestern highlands. Take part in a nature walk and prepare for the following day's gorilla trekking experience.

Return Journey → Entebbe

After breakfast, begin the journey back to Entebbe, bringing your eight-day primate and wildlife safari to an end.

Drive to Murchison Falls and marvel at the powerful waters from the Top of the Falls. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise towards the Bottom of the Falls, followed by an evening wildlife game drive.

Murchison Falls → Kibale Forest

Enjoy a sunrise wildlife game drive before transferring to Kibale National Park, famous for its lush tropical rainforest and diverse primates.

Kibale → Fort Portal Exploration

Discover Fort Portal Tourism City and explore the mystical Amabere Caves before enjoying the beautiful surroundings of Mahoma Falls.

Fort Portal → Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Take an 11:00 AM boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel to see hippos, birds and other wildlife, followed by an afternoon game drive.

Queen Elizabeth → Lake Bunyonyi

Begin with a morning wildlife game drive before travelling to scenic Lake Bunyonyi. Visit Kitagata Hot Springs along the way before continuing to the lake and its beautiful islands.

Lake Bunyonyi Full-Day Experience

Spend the day exploring Lake Bunyonyi and its fascinating islands. Visit Punishment Island and enjoy a cultural experience including an encounter with a traditional healer.

Lake Bunyonyi → Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

Drive through Echuya Forest for a Batwa cultural experience before continuing towards Kisoro. Stop at German Grandmother Coffee Pot for lunch before settling in for the evening.

Kisoro Coffee Tour

After breakfast, enjoy a coffee tour in Kisoro. Discover the local coffee-growing process and experience the culture and landscapes of Uganda's beautiful southwestern highlands.

Kisoro → Entebbe → Departure

After breakfast, begin the journey back to Entebbe International Airport for your evening departure flight, marking the end of your 14-day Uganda safari adventure.

Arrival Entebbe → Jinja

On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, meet your professional Ninoh Wild Safaris guide. Enjoy lunch before beginning the journey to Jinja, with views of Kampala and the surrounding countryside along the way.

On arrival, check in at your hotel. If time allows, enjoy an optional nature walk, village walk or simply relax while experiencing the beautiful surroundings of the River Nile.

Source of the Nile → Jinja City Tour → Entebbe

After breakfast, check out and drive to the Source of the Nile. Enjoy approximately one hour on a boat cruise exploring the historic source of the world's longest river.

Continue with a guided Jinja city tour, visiting attractions such as the craft village, golf course, Hindu temple, local market and the Bujagali area. There is also an opportunity to enjoy a walk through the city.

After the city tour, enjoy a local lunch before driving back to Entebbe International Airport for departure.
